I am often in amazement that christians act as they do. The reality of life in this country is such that you can do anything to anyone and feel no remorse for your actions or,even more importantly, the impact that it has on those around you. I watch people everyday move through this earth as if they are to only living thing that matters. Many of these people claim to be christians. I find it interesting. Almost as interesting as a meat-eating vegetarian. Why? How we treat one another is how that world knows we are christians. Jesus gave us one new commandment ( to go along with His Father's previous 10): "A new commandment I give to you,that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another" (John 13:34) Seems simple enough.That we love unconditionally, sacrificially. Imagine the world if all the christians of the world put other's needs before their own!! Just the thought makes me smile! |
